Job Posting 1: Director of Virtual Communication
The Association of Illinois School Library Educators is seeking a Director of Virtual Communications. The Director of Virtual Communication, a part-time position, is responsible for various duties including, but not limited to:
Maintaining and updating website content
Working with the professional web developer/designer as needed
Serving as a Super Admin for Google Apps for Nonprofit and maintaining accounts as directed
Setting up and maintaining accounts for virtual platforms
Ensuring policies concerning the Google Apps for Nonprofit account are followed
Attending board meetings and serving on various committees
Working collaboratively with the Presidents, Communications Function Rep, Executive Secretary and Registrar
The ideal candidate will have AISLE leadership experience, a commitment to the duties and responsibilities of the position, and experience or willingness to learn technology tools such as Google Suite and others relevant to the position. Candidate will work for a probationary period of one year before being eligible for a two year contract.

Job Posting 2: Newsletter Editor
The Association of Illinois School Library Educators is seeking a Newsletter Editor. The Newsletter Editor is a part time position and is responsible for various duties including, but not limited to:
Creating and publishing a bi-weekly AISLE Update email
Creating and publishing three issues of the AISLE Advocate, the organization’s longform newsletter (election issue, conference issue, and one additional issue)
Serving on the Communications Standing Committee and other committees as necessary
Working collaboratively with the leadership team to promote AISLE activities and events.
The ideal candidate will have AISLE leadership experience, a commitment to the duties and responsibilities of the position, and experience or willingness to learn technology tools relevant to the position. Candidate will need to provide their own computer and internet connectivity. Candidate will work for a probationary period of one year before being eligible for a two year contract.
