Biology MCAS Re-testing will take place on Wednesday, February 6th and Thursday, February 7th
Decision Days
PHS Guidance Department will host “Decision Days” with both Quincy College and Massasoit Community College. This is an opportunity for seniors that are interested in attending a 2-year college to apply and meet with an admissions counselor and receive an on-the-spot acceptance. Quincy College waives the $30 application fee for all PHS Students. The Guidance Counselors met with all interested seniors to complete an application prior to the interview date.
The Decision Days are as follows:
Quincy College – February 8, 2019
Massasoit Community College – February 15, 2019

Baby Pictures
SENIORS…..We are looking for senior baby pictures for the yearbook! please upload them to REPLAYIT.COM. When uploading you need to make sure your name is with the picture so we know who the picture is!!!
Graduation Lawn Signs
Graduation is fast approaching! Let everyone know how proud you are of your graduate!
The senior class is selling the popular YARD SIGNS for this spring's graduating class.
The blue, red and white signs proudly read HOME OF A 2019 PEMBROKE GRADUATE and include our school's logo.
Signs are double-sided, 18" x 24" and include stakes.
Order forms will be distributed to seniors in advisory periods and available from Mr. Turley in room 205.
Cost is $20 and all proceeds will benefit the senior class. Checks are payable to Pembroke High School.
Deadline to order is March 31.
Signs will be available for pickup at the high school at the beginning of May.
Introducing the Titans Film Festival
The Titans Film Festival is a new initiative of the Pembroke Public Schools that aims to celebrate original media created by students and staff.
(Teachers are encouraged to include options for students to create films and videos when assigning curriculum projects throughout the school year. Students may then choose to submit their original media creations for recognition at the Titans Film Festival.)
Deadline for submission: April 12, 2019.
- Min Run-Time: 2 Minutes
- Max Run-Time: 8 Minutes
Submissions will be judged on; the integration of text, graphics, video, animation, and sound to convey information (Media/Technical); the concepts; knowledge and opinions that constitute substance (Content); and the elements that make it unique, original and compelling (Innovation).
The film screening will be on May 3, 2019.

More Exciting news from PHS!
The music department is thrilled to announce that three students have been accepted to the 2019 MA All-State Music Festival.
The students will attend a 3- day music festival in Boston February 28 – March 2, culminating with a performance in historic Symphony Hall.

PHS Wind Ensemble performed at the 8th South Shore Band Exchange Concert at Hanover High School. Such a wonderful celebration of band music with Hanover, Marshfield, Scituate, Hingham, Taunton, and Pembroke bands. Congratulations to all for fantastic performances!
The PHS DECA Club did an outstanding job at the DECA District Conference
Fifty-nine DECA students competed and nineteen came home with trophies (top 4) and many earned a spot in the top eight!
We are so proud of their accomplishments and more importantly how they behaved at the conference. They did a really great job representing Pembroke High School! Approximately thirty PHS students will be competing against 3,000 students in the MA State competition in March!
If you see any of these students - please congratulate them!

Here you will find information about upcoming town events such as youth sports, camps, town recreation, etc. We hope that this new “Community Notices” virtual backpack will help streamline communication between the community and school district.
We recommend checking the backpack weekly. If you would like to submit to the backpack you may do so through our broadcast email request form on our website.
Class of 2020 Babysitting Night
You deserve a date night! The Class of 2020 is hosting another Babysitting Night on Friday, February 15th from 5-9 PM at Pembroke High School.
$10 per hour or $30 for full four hours.
*Kids must be potty trained.
Pizza snacks, games, crafts and a movie will be provided.
All proceeds go to toward the class of 2019 and 2020 prom.
