A Message from our Assistant Superintendent
Parents and Students,
The last eight weeks of school have been something new for all of us, due to COVID-19 and the regulations prohibiting any on-site school instruction. We value your feedback. Please take the following survey to help us plan for the future: AMI Learning Survey for Grades K-12
If you have multiple children in our school district, you will be able to use one survey and select that option at the end of entering the information for the first child. We ask that you and your child(ren) answer the survey together.
We appreciate the feedback you will be providing. Your collaborative input will give us valuable information as we plan for the future of our Airedales.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Thank you again for your input,
Pamm Treece

National Association of Agricultural Educators
Mrs. Lakan Brumley is the agriculture teacher at Alma High School in Alma, Arkansas, a school district that’s been without an agricultural education program for the past 15 years. This past fall, the district rechartered the program, and Mrs. Brumley has been working hard to rebuild the program ever since. “In just less than a year, the students in the program have done so much. As a first-year teacher starting a program, it was so exciting to see freshmen through seniors get involved with so many things. The drive my students, the community, and our school personnel have to help the program grow and be a success is what I am most proud of.”
Outside of the classroom, Mrs. Brumley enjoys spending time with her husband and three dogs and is passionate about kayaking, hiking, and finishing. She currently teaches introduction courses to all grade levels and looks forward to implementing animal science classes in the coming years.
Alma coach makes most of shutdown
Rusty Bush was just getting acclimated to his new job as head football coach at Alma.
Then, the coronavirus pandemic hit, forcing a shutdown of school and team activities. Which made the transition even more difficult for Bush, the former long-time Northside assistant who was named Alma's coach right before Christmas.
