Alma School District Newsletter
October 11, 2019
October is National Bullying Prevention Month
Providing a safe environment for our students is a top priority for Alma School District. Besides academic skills, much time is spent at Alma School District teaching students behavior skills for being successful in public and social settings. Most of our students behave appropriately while at school; however, some of our students require more practice. We want all of our students to feel safe while at school. When any student does not behave appropriately, this jeopardizes the safe environment.
Below are the guidelines we use to determine how to categorize behaviors that are undesirable. We take every report of conflict, rudeness, meanness, and bullying seriously. We document, investigate, and work towards resolution for every incident. Below are the guidelines for determining these behaviors.
