- Grade 3 students can join chorus starting January 18 as long as the sign-up sheet has been turned in.
Drama Kids
The next round of Drama Kids will kick off on Monday, January 28.

Preschool Registration is now open!
The 2019-2020 Preschool application deadline is Thursday, February 7, 2019, by 3:00 PM. All applications must be hand-delivered to the main office of North Pembroke Elementary School at 72 Pilgrim Road. At the time you return your application you will select your screening time on February 8th or February 15th.
- Notification letters will be mailed by March 22, 2019.
- The child must be 3 years old by September 1, 2019.
- Current school year times for the half-day program are Monday-Thursday from 8:15-11:00 AM or 12:00-2:45 PM. The full-day program runs Monday-Friday from 8:15 AM -2:45 PM.
- Current tuition price for the half-day program is $2000 and the full day program is $5000. School times and tuition are subject to change per school committee policy.

PTO News
Our next PTO meeting is on Wednesday, January 16th at 7 pm in the LGI-Daycare will be provided.

Meeting Dates:
Save the dates for our PTO meetings for the 2018-2019 school year! Most meetings will be in the Library at 7 pm. We tried to keep it to the 3rd Wednesday of every month. We ended most meetings last year within an hour!

Box Tops
- The next Box Tops submission will be March 1st, 2019.
- Our NPES November 1st, 2018 submission goal was $750.00!
- Plastic snack/sandwich size bags indicating teachers name is the preferred method of submission this year, but we accept all in any form that works for you
- Please review expiration dates prior to sending into school.
- Get your box tops clipped and submitted and show your NPES pride! Go, Titans!
North Pembroke 6th Grade Parents and Caregivers- Survivor Night
SAVE THE DATE: Survivor Night
North Pembroke 6th Grade Survivor Night will be held on Friday, January 25th from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm. (snow date will be on Friday, February 1). This is a free, fun event based on the TV reality show and it requires many volunteers.
If you are interested in volunteering or have any questions, please contact Diane Blake at dbergami@yahoo.com and/or Paula Landolfi at pmlandolfi@gmail.com. You must have a current CORI on file in order to volunteer. Cori’s take up to 2 weeks to process, please plan accordingly.
A permission slip with more details about the night will be sent home with your child soon.

Grade 5 Candy Sales
The Hilliard’s Chocolates are off to a great start! The 5th-grade student that sold the most candy as of 12/14 was Ellie Drummond. She wins 2 tickets to a Bruins game. Also, the class that has had the most participation so far is Mrs. Snee’s, they win a $50 Amazon gift card.
For everyone else, there are more dates to sell at Lowe’s with your classmates and more boxes to be sold. We will have another top seller for 2 more Bruins tickets announced by the end of January so if you want to sell another box contact Meredith McCafferty or Andrea Mikkola.
Thank you to all who have participated in any way so far. There are still some who can join the fun and help out to raise that money needed for fun 6th-grade activities.

Tickets are $34. Our group has only been allotted 200 tickets.

Community Notices Virtual Backpack
For additional information and more about other town events, check the Community Notices Virtual Backpack!
Here you will find information about upcoming town events such as youth sports, camps, town recreation, etc. We hope that this new “Community Notices” virtual backpack will help streamline communication between the community and school district.
We recommend checking the backpack weekly. If you would like to submit to the backpack you may do so through our broadcast email request form on our website.

Pembroke Recreation Basketball Winter Mini Sessions

4:30pm-5:15pm
Our basketball program will help increase the student’s confidence in passing, shooting, and dribbling skills so when it’s time to make that game-winning shot they are ready! They will also learn the proper techniques of playing defense, rebounding and boxing out. Besides playing scrimmages, the students will also play games such as knock out, dribbling relay races, and hot hands.
