Back to School Information
School begins August 8th!
A few words from Principal Yates...
I hope everyone has had a fantastic summer! As we quickly approach the end of summer, I wanted to take a moment to reach out and provide you with some important information as we prepare for the upcoming school year.
Our teachers return on Tuesday, August 1st and our dedicated team will work diligently to ensure that we are ready to welcome the return of our Dragons. We continue to be committed to providing the best possible education and support, tailored to meet the needs of each and every student.
One of the biggest changes for this year will be the addition of 9 new staff members to Dan Mills! Sadly, we have had to say goodbye to former staff members who have made the choice to proceed onward with new journeys.
Julia Hoge will be concentrating her efforts on both expanding her counseling practice and teaching as a professor at Vanderbilt University.
Sarah Beck will be relocating to the West Coast to explore future career aspirations.
Kelly VanCleve will be completing her degree and licensure to become a therapist.
Lucas King will be stepping into the role of a full-time father!
Stefani Brand will be enjoying retirement and spending time with her family.
Nicole Herrera will be moving to teach in another county closer to home.
The contributions that these individuals have made on the Dan Mills community are immeasurable. We wish them all the best on their new endeavors!
