A Moment With Mrs. O'Donnell
Dear Attea Families,
WOW! AMAZING! ATTEA HAS TALENT! Our Attea Spring Follies was a showcase of students sharing their passions and talents! Thanks to all the students, staff and families that supported the show!
Last week our 6th and 7th grade students completed NWEA/MAP assessments for reading and math. Students in all grade levels completed the Panorama survey to share feedback on managing and expressing their feelings. This information helps us identify ways to provide instructional and emotional support to all our students.
The weeks ahead are filled with exiting events such as a spirit assembly, awards ceremonies, band, orchestra and choir concerts and so much more. We are thrilled to be sharing in each others accomplishments and celebrate the Flyer Spirit!
A huge and warm thank you to the SPAT-PTA for the generous offerings of treats, school supplies, lunch and so much more. It was a remarkable Teacher/Staff Appreciation Week. We are all enormously grateful!!
Go Flyers!
Mrs. O'Donnell
Principal
Congratulations to the High Flyers of the Week

residency@glenview34.org | 847-998-50635th to 6th Grade Parent Transition Survey RE-OPENED!
THE FORM WILL CLOSE AGAIN ON MAY 19th.
The input of families is an important component in planning students' transition from intermediate to middle school. Please talk together as a family to decide about Global Language, Band, Orchestra, and Choir. The form has a place for you to fill in your choices. The form will also allow you to express your thoughts about your child as a learner.
Please log into your Parent PowerSchool Account and click on the Transition Survey(See the left graphic).
NO ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER MAY 19th.
If no transition survey is completed, students will be placed in classes based on class sizes and other educational factors.
Graduation Ticket Information
Graduation tickets and a letter of information are being mailed home to the address(es)listed in Powerschool this week. The envelope may take a few days to reach your mailbox.
No “extra” tickets are available because we have provided families with the maximum number of possible tickets based on the capacity of the GBS auditorium. If you need extra tickets, families and graduates are encouraged to talk with each other and share tickets. There are no assigned seats in the auditorium.
Exciting Times Ahead for the Class of 2023!

8th Grade Graduation Party Volunteer Sign Up
Calling all 6th and 7th grade parents to help chaperone the 8th grade Attea Grad party!!! There is a long standing tradition of 6th and 7th grade parents managing the party for the outgoing class of 8th graders. It's a great opportunity to see what happens, what you would do when it's your turn and what in some cases you would opt NOT to do ;). We are asking for a time commitment of 7:30-11. Volunteers will move around the different stations during the party as needed. If you cannot commit to the entire time slot, please make a note in the comment box or contact Dana Doffin at dana.d.doffin@gmail.com or for Tricia Johnson at tmj1578@gmail.com Thanks!!!
The PTA keep you informed and offer an opportunity for you to share your voice. We are always recruiting new volunteers and hope that you join us.
