Bus Procedure for School Sponsored Events

Homecoming Week September 26-30
- Here is the link to our Homecoming Schedule.
- The homecoming parade will be on Tuesday, September 27, beginning at 2:30 PM. The parade route will circle around the South Campus (High School and Elementary School). It will end in the staff parking lot behind the high school.There will be a short pep rally after the parade where our fall sport coaches will speak to those in attendance.
- The bonfire will be Wednesday, September 28, from 7:00-9:30 PM. Mr. Weiler will be the DJ.
- THE BONFIRE IS FOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS ONLY.
Below is the parade route and designated areas. Please park in the student parking lot (west parking lot) or in the staff parking lot on the south side of the building. Please do not park behind the high school.

Commencement Ceremony Participation
The Chequamegon School District is committed to providing students with the knowledge, skills, and habits of mind to succeed in college, the military, or in the workplace. We take great pride in watching our students graduate and participate in the commencement ceremony at the end of the school year. Attendance is of the utmost importance and vital for all students to be successful in school. The District will bestow a diploma to those students who successfully complete the requirements for graduation, as identified by the Board of Education. In addition, the Chequamegon High School will host graduation ceremonies to honor students who have exemplified outstanding character while obtaining their diplomas from the Chequamegon School District.
Student participation in the commencement ceremony is a privilege.
Students are required to earn a minimum of 26 credits to graduate and participate in the commencement ceremony.
Seniors are required to be in full attendance for a minimum of 90% attendance in each class for the entire school year.
Total absences are a combination of both excused and unexcused absences together(Tardies are considered unexcused absences).
Students are allowed 10 excused absences for the entire school year and 5 unexcused absences per semester.
Extenuating circumstances will be considered on a case-by-case basis by the principal in consultation with the student’s parents/guardians.

Failure to comply with the attendance expectations will prevent the student from participating in the commencement ceremony.
Students must have made up any disciplinary consequences in order to participate. Any multiple-day school suspension or school-related legal referral during senior year may result in revocation of the graduation ceremony privilege under the discretion of the school principal.
