622 Online - Elementary and Middle School
Dear 622 Families,
District 622 is excited to announce that, in addition to a fully online high school option, students in grades K-5 and grades 6-8 will also have online school options available to them next school year, pending approval from the State of Minnesota.
In 622 Online - Elementary School, students will have access to live connections with a 622 teacher, age-appropriate instruction aligned to the Minnesota academic standards, and a mix of synchronous (live) and asynchronous (independent) learning opportunities. K-5 students will connect through an interactive virtual classroom. In addition, digital and physical instructional materials will be utilized. Students will have access to the same academic support services that are available in-person.
In 622 Online - Middle School, students will have access to licensed 622 teachers, digital curriculum and instruction aligned to the Minnesota academic standards, and a mix of synchronous (live) and asynchronous (independent) learning opportunities. Access to content is flexible and available 24/7! Grades 6-8 students will connect through an interactive virtual classroom and will have access to the same academic support services that are available in-person. Also, students in 622 Online - Middle School will have access to clubs, activities, and athletics!
In order to find out how many families are interested in our new 622 Online options, pre-registration for the 2021-2022 school year is now open! Please complete one of the forms below by Wednesday, April 7, if you are interested in 622 Online for next school year. Pre-registering does not mean you have to be in the online program, but it helps us plan for our next school year.

Note: 622 Online is not the same as the current distance learning model, which was used in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
