LAST DAY OF SCHOOL!
A Note from Ms. Ellison
Dear Glen Grove Families,
Wow! Our Glen Grove PTA and families have spoiled us during Teacher Appreciation Week. Thank you so much for your generosity and care. The treats, the notes, the gift cards, and the positive messages mean so much to our educators.
It was a great pleasure to attend our chorus and orchestra concert. Our students, Mrs. Forrest, and Mr. Babcock did an excellent job. We look forward to the upcoming band concerts and fifth-grade musicals. It is wonderful to be part of a district and school that elevates and appreciates the arts.
Thanks for all you do to support our Gators. We are looking forward to a strong finish to the school! As always, please feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions, comments, or concerns.
Thanks,
Kate Ellison

Please note that, due to supply chain issues, all items are subject to change without notice.
The Food Services department is experiencing unprecedented staff shortages. To continue to provide meals to students in this environment, we may need to adjust to a limited menu, removing the hot entree option. This change may happen on any given day, at one or multiple schools. We will provide information to families at a particular school if this does happen, though communication may occur on short notice.
We appreciate your understanding!
From the Nurse's Office
If you need any help or support during this difficult time of the pandemic, please do not hesitate to call Jennifer Hastings, RN, our Health Coordinator, at (847) 657-2394.
All student absences should be called into the health office no later than 7:45 a.m. at (847) 657-2394. The school has voicemail so parents can call the health office to leave messages at any time.
If your children come to school after 7:45 a.m. please have them come through the front office. This is for the safety of all of our students.

Thank you PTA for the fantastic Teachers Appreciation Week treats!
Glen Grove Community Culture Team
The purpose of the Glen Grove Community Culture Team is to celebrate our diversity and recognize all the different kinds of celebrations and traditions our families celebrate. The team meets monthly to talk about how we can share our Glen Grove families' celebrations and traditions.
To celebrate International Day on the ABC Countdown, the Glen Grove Community Culture Team set up a station near Door B with some activities for classrooms as well as a poster that said, "Celebrating Who We Are and Where We are From." Students used stamp markers to stamp on the continents. They could stamp where they are from, a place their family is from, or a place that they wanted to learn more about. Teachers were also reminded to share some of the videos from the Community Project.
It has been an amazing year filled with much learning, growing, and sharing!
Lost and Found
Thank you to all who checked the Lost and Found during our Chorus and Orchestra concerts! You can also check during our Band concerts and the 5th Grade Musical performances.
Your child, of course, can look in the lunchroom for any sweaters, jackets, boots, gloves, hats, water bottles, etc., and in the office for small items, during the school day.
All items not claimed by May 27 will be donated or discarded.
