ASVAB Testing September 8, 2023
The ASVAB test (Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery) will be administered on Friday, September 8th 9 A.M. at LHS This test is available to students in the 10th, 11th, and 12th grade.
ASVAB scores are used to determine if you are qualified to enlist in the military and to assign you to an appropriate job in the military. The ASVAB is also a great career exploration tool.
Taking the test does not obligate you, or register you for military service.
Students can sign up for the ASVAB in room E-202 and E-203, or they can email Mr. Magyar (Career Specialist) or Mrs. Augsburger (Career Specialist) at gmagyar@lexington1.net and daugsburger@lexington1.net
Our school military recruiter SSGT Jones has offered to assist students with practice questions regarding the ASVAB. Please reach out to him at brian.k.jones3.mil@army.mil
Please see below to help study for the ASVAB

Selective Service Registration
By law young men within 30 days of their 18th birthday must register with the selective service. Why is this so important? Because every year, tens of thousands of men turn 26 years of age who failed to register, by then, the registration door is permanently closed. That means they are unable to receive federally funded college loans and grants; are unable to get into federally funded training and certification programs;
are barred from all federal employment, etc.
Go to https://www.sss.gov/Home/Registration and take 45 seconds to register.
It’s the law and it may save you a lifetime of headaches.
