Information and Guidance for Families
Included below is a summary of our return to campus protocols to ensure students, families, and staff health and safety.

DAILY AT-HOME STUDENT CHECKLIST
- Check student's temperature (must be under 100 degrees) without the aid of fever-reducing medicine (students will receive a thermometer on the first day of school)
- Bring student mask/face covering
- Bring student personal refillable water container
- Bring student district-issued Chromebook or other personal compatible learning devices
- Have students eat a healthy breakfast.
- When possible, bring a snack
- Arrive at 8:00 am and be ready to report right to your first class
- Gates open at 7:45 am

Remember, students are dismissed at 12:40 and will go home to attend intervention 1:25-2:45, as needed.
ARRIVAL AND DISMISSAL LOCATIONS
STUDENT ARRIVAL/ENTRY - See Map Above
Gates open at 7:45. Classroom doors open at 8 am. Class starts at 8:15
Students can enter through any of the five gates shown on the map above
Students must wear a mask on campus
Students must maintain 6 feet of physical distancing whenever possible
STUDENT DISMISSAL - See Map Above
- Students are dismissed from campus at 12:40 and will go home
- Intervention starts at 1:25 (at home)
- Students may exit through any of the 5 gates shown on the map above
- Students may not linger on campus after dismissal
Parents may pick students up at the same gate through which they arrived
Parent access to front office
- If you need access to the front office, please call ahead
- One guest may enter the front office lobby at a time
- Social distancing markers will be in place
LUNCH AND NUTRITION
GRAB AND GO MEALS
- Student meals will be available for distribution for TVUSD students every Monday at all six TVUSD middle schools.
- Parents can pick up 7-day meal packs between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.
Meal kits provided on Mondays will contain 7 lunches, 7 breakfasts, and enough fruits, vegetables, milk & juice for one complete week.
- TVUSD enrolled students do not have to be present. Parents can bring printout proof of enrollment from the Infinite Campus portal.
- Non-enrolled siblings under 18 years of age of enrolled TVUSD students may also receive meals. Non-enrolled siblings must be present.
- Water filling stations will be open. Bring your own personal water container.
SIGNAGE AND SITE WALKING PATTERNS
Students will go transition class by walking clockwise next to buildings (under the overhang) and counterclockwise outside of overhang
Hand sanitizing and hand washing stations will be accessible.
BATHROOM ASSIGNMENTS
- When occupied students will wait their turn by lining up outside of the bathroom
Soap, hand sanitizers, and paper towels will be available
Handwashing and physical distancing signs will be displayed
Students can report any concerns to their teacher
HEALTH OFFICE AND TRANSITION ROOM
A designated transition room (not the health office) will be used if a student exhibits COVID-like symptoms
Routine Medical Needs: Students who take daily medication, need band aids, etc. will receive medical attention in the health office/front office
If a parent needs access to the health office, call ahead and check in at front desk (temperature will be taken)
CUSTODIAL CLEANING
- Cleaning of frequently touched surfaces will be completed by all staff, frequently, and, as needed
Classrooms and mutual spaces will be disinfected nightly by custodians with an electrostatic sprayer
Student, classroom work stations will be cleaned between use
