- PERMIT TO LEAVE CAMPUS (PTL):
If it is necessary for a student to leave campus, they must obtain permit to leave from the attendance office. Failure to secure this permit will result in a major truancy as stated in the school handbook. In order to facilitate a student’s release, the ATTENDANCE OFFICE NEEDS AT LEASET ONE (1) HOUR NOTICE. A parent or guardian must call the attendance office prior to the student needing to leave. Notes will not be accepted. Please be advised that NO PERMITS TO LEAVE CAMPUS WILL BE MADE AND NO STUDENT WILL BE CALLED OUT OF CLASS 20 MINUTES BEFORE LUNCH AND 20 MINUTES BEFORE THE END OF THE DAY.
- If your student is marked absent in a class that they attended, please email the teacher that they were marked absent in so the teacher can change that with the attendance office. The attendance office cannot change it without the teachers approval.

CHS National Honor Society
Our CHS National Honor Society chapter is collecting donations for the Idaho Humane Society. IHS cares for a variety of animals including cats, dogs, rabbits, ferrets, rats, hamsters, etc., so they can use a wide variety of items! It is currently kitten season so dry cat/kitten food is at the top of their need list, but they can always use the following:
- Canned cat/kitten food
- Canned dog/puppy food
- Kitten milk replacer
- Puppy pads
- Peanut butter (Xylitol free! Xylitol is toxic for dogs)
Want to donate online? Below are links to the Humane Society's Amazon wish lists:

Reminder from the School Nurse
We are excited to offer Centennial High School students an option for dental cleaning services. West Ada School District and the Family Medical Residency of Idaho have teamed together to open a pediatric dental clinic serving children in the West Ada School District that do not have Medicaid or private dental insurance. The clinic is located on the Meridian Elementary School campus. It offers no cost dental cleanings to qualifying students.

- For students needing to take and store prescription or other medication in the health office, please make certain that it is in a properly labeled prescription bottle or original container.
